As we gear up for our biggest fundraiser and most beer-filled event of the summer, Riverfest, we can’t help but give a grateful nod to those who help make Casper’s best brewfest (and one that supports the trails) a huge success. From this year’s presenting sponsor, Fremont Casper, to the PRTT board and volunteers, sponsors, breweries, vendors and food trucks, entertainment, and our community members who come to drink good beer in support of the trails, we thank you for helping Riverfest reach its 32nd year! So, just who are these amazing people that contribute to a successful Riverfest?
Sponsors and Donors To our sponsors, simply put: we couldn’t host Riverfest without you. We are beyond grateful for our 2024 presenting sponsor, Fremont Casper, for sponsoring our biggest fundraiser of the year. Without their backing, an event of this scale couldn’t happen, which means the trails wouldn’t receive the essential funding needed to be maintained and build new connections. We’d also like to thank this year’s Barley and Hops Sponsors: ANB Bank, Black Hills Energy, Enbridge, Hilltop, Holloman, ONEOK, Rocking K, Steinhoff & Co., Shane True & JoAnn Skeim-True Family, and Williams, Porter, Day & Neville. Similarly, without so many of these amazing community sponsors, Riverfest couldn’t happen. Riverfest is also made possible by our In-Kind donors like KCWY-13 who provides publicity, and R&R Rest Stops who ensure adequate facilities for the afternoon. We also thank Connect Beverage, Teton Distributors, Quality Brands, Moser Energy Systems, and Blakeman Propane. It truly take a village (of supporters) and we’re grateful for each and every one. Breweries Of course, it wouldn’t be Casper’s best brewfest without the breweries who pour unlimited sips of beer for Riverfest-goers! This year we will welcome local and regional breweries, like Mevin Brewing and Wind River Brewing, and Casper-area distributers who bring an impressive sample of craft brews to tickle your tastebuds. All that to say, we are thrilled to welcome back new and familiar brewers and distributers who we’re sure will make this year’s Riverfest one for the books! Vendors and Food Trucks If you’re thinking you need some comfort food and cold treats while you’re enjoying all the Riverfest festivities, you’re in luck! An event staple, Riverfest welcomes a variety of local and regional food trucks ready to keep you fed and fueled. From pizza to tacos, ice cream, and even fried alligator, Riverfest has featured plethora of food options over the past 32 years. We are beyond grateful for the food and other local vendors who show up to help satisfy eventgoers with tasty eats. Entertainment What’s a brewfest without live music?! The Riverfest “stage” has seen classic rock cover bands, acoustic acts, and other guest musicians who help curate a great environment for drinking craft beer down by the North Platte River. This year, we are excited to feature Zack Scott, with Auburn Green to open the afternoon. To all the musicians past and present, thank you for providing an enjoyable soundtrack for so many to enjoy! PRTT Board and Volunteers The Platte River Trails Trust all-volunteer board has been a great resource, sounding board, and pillar for ensuring the success and continuation of Riverfest year after year. Not only are we grateful for their support behind the scenes, but several of them show up to volunteer during the event to help the afternoon run smoothly (and of course enjoy a brew or two!). Riverfest has also seen several volunteers from other organizations lend a helping hand and we have always deeply appreciated their time. Our Community Last but certainly not least, Riverfest would not happen without the attendance of our beloved community over the past 32 years. We are beyond grateful that you show up each year to drink beer and support the trails while doing so. Each ticket purchase helps us maintain and expand our beloved trail system throughout Casper and Natrona County and we’re just so thankful you’re willing to drink beer to help us fulfill our mission. If you’re reading this, you most likely fall into one of these groups mentioned above and we hope you know how grateful we are for your support and participation in Riverfest year after year. It truly takes the collective support of our community to make Riverfest happen. Together, we make this the best brewfest in Casper! Plan to join us for the 32nd annual Riverfest on August 10th from 1 – 6 p.m. at Crossroads Park. While the event is FREE to attend, you need to purchase a ticket to enjoy the brews. Get your brewfest tickets now and save $5 ($35 presale, $40 at the event). Be sure to follow along on Facebook and Instagram for Riverfest (and trail) updates. Cheers!
