2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the Platte River Trails Trust organization.

Spawned by the community’s interest in reclaiming the North Platte River and heavily influenced by the San Antonio, TX River Walk, the Platte River Trails Masterplan was finalized in 1982. This Masterplan identified the multi-faceted elements that make up our organization’s mission including,

• Construction of a non-motorized pathway system from Robertson Road to Bryan Stock trail
• Creation of a link that connects our community from west
• And finally, a program for cleaning up, preserving and enhancing the river corridor. 

For the past 40 years we have relied upon individuals, businesses, foundations and local and state agencies to continue our work to bring trails to you! Please consider a tax-deductible year-end gift to the Platte River Trails.
