The Platte River Trails 2024 Sponsorship Guide is out now and features three opportunities to show your support for the trails. Sponsorships are critical in helping Platte River Trails fulfill our mission to develop and expand our non-motorized trail system while preserving our valuable and beloved outdoor spaces. With your support, we can sustain our trails, add to the livability of our community, and preserve the legacy of the North Platte River.

Whether you’re a frequent trail user or new to our beloved trail network, you’d be surprised at all the things that can be found along our winding pathways. Of course, they include a front row seat to the North Platte River, the Tate Pumphouse, and the Bart Rea Learning Circle, but did you know the Platte River Trails also have a number of features and amenities that make our trail system more than just a way to get from point A to point B?
Platte River Trails is committed to connecting community to trails and we’re kicking off 2024 with our Annual Meeting on February 21st! We are excited to share our 2023 accomplishments and goals for the year while presenting a guest speaker to talk non-motorized pathways.
Platte River Trails Trust is grateful for the opportunity to continue connecting community through trails due in part to a $15,000 grant received from the Wyoming Community Foundation.
Winter on the Platte River Trails offers a magical and whimsical experience not found during the spring and summer months. While it’s common to consider the trails most frequented during warmer weather, the snow, frosted foliage, and icy North Platte River make the Platte River Trails a unique winter wonderland right in our own backyards. Experience the wintery magic on the trails with this guide to the best winter activities on the trails.
Platte River Trails was built by the community, for the community, to provide a non-motorized network of trails for the purpose of preserving our outdoor spaces and improving quality of life for all. Simply put, there would be no trails without you, our community. From local businesses to schools, parks, and neighborhoods, we’re connecting community through trails, and you can be a part of it.
Business retreats, weddings, family reunions, company luncheons – the Tate Pumphouse hosts it all! Not only is the Pumphouse Casper’s most scenic event venue, but it can accommodate nearly any kind of event. The unique interior with outstanding views of Casper Mountain, and the sounds of the North Platte River, sets the stage for a successful and memorable event any time of the year.
The countdown to Riverfest is on! With five days to go, Platte River Trails is excited to share this year’s event details and fun, new surprises. Riverfest is Platte River Trails’ biggest fundraiser of the year and the community’s support for this beloved event does not go unnoticed. Each year, together with sponsors and supporters, Platte River Trails hopes to bring the community together to sip on cold craft beer and enjoy live music and activities, all while supporting the trails.
If you’re anything like us, when you think of Riverfest, you think of cold, craft beers on a hot summer day! Riverfest truly wouldn’t be what it is without our local and regional breweries serving up some crisp cold ones along the North Platte River. For over 30 years, Riverfest has brought the community together to not only support the Platte River Trails’ mission, but to enjoy a variety of summer activities, like a beer fest, all in one place!
It’s no secret that the North Platte River serves as an unofficial trail map through Casper. Weaving through our community, passing by parks and neighborhoods, and roaring through the rapids in front of the Tate Pumphouse, the North Platte River plays an important role for our community trail system.
