5 Reasons Not to Miss Riverfest this Year

​Riverfest, presented by Foss Motors, is Platte River Trail’s biggest fundraiser of the year. In addition to highlighting what makes Casper great—our beautiful river and the amazing community that lives here—the proceeds from this beloved event support our community trail system. This year, proceeds will specifically support the Paradise Valley bridge project, helping us connect people to places from the west-side to the east. 

After missing 2020, we’re more excited than ever to welcome Riverfest back! If you haven’t attended in the past or are just as excited as we are for its return, here are 5 reasons why you won’t want to miss 2021 Riverfest.

1. You’re Supporting Our Trails! Not only is Riverfest a great community event, but it also provides vital fundraising to help us create crucial non-motorized trail connections in our community. Give back, support our community’s trail connections + have a good time. It’s a win-win!
2. Live Music! Get ready for an afternoon filled with great tunes. Riverfest will feature music performances from incredible local musicians including Steve Frame and Mastermind of Monkey.
3. Cold Brews! Cool off from the warm summer day with cold beers from incredible craft breweries. The Riverfest craft beer tasting is one you don’t want to miss! Make sure to buy your tickets now to save. Bonus: you’ll receive this year’s commemorative cup! Check out the list of breweries that will be there.
4. Food Trucks! What goes really well with cold beer and live music? FOOD! Grab a bite to eat at one of the many food trucks serving up something delicious to keep your bellies full. Follow our Riverfest event on Facebook to stay up to date on all the food truck fare you can expect.
5. Family Friendly Fun! With face painting, vendor booths, kids’ activities and more, there is sure to be something for the whole family to enjoy. Speaking of fun for kids and adults, this year, Riverfest attendees can enjoy a variety of inflatables; fun for kids AND adults. Did we mention the Rotary Club of Casper’s Great Duck Derby will also be at Crossroads Park? Be sure you’re at Crossroads Park by 3:00 when the ducks drop!
