After a great Spring Clean-Up on June 4th, and as we prepare for our 30th annual Riverfest, the Platte River Trails Trust is grateful for the supportive Board of Directors that help keep these and other events throughout the year possible. Along with our community and sponsors, our Board is an essential asset to the success and execution of our mission. Bringing trails to you would be impossible without the 15 community members that volunteer to serve on our Board. The PRTT Board is responsible for a wide variety of work including day to day maintenance of the River Trail and the Tate Pumphouse as well as short and long term planning for trails throughout the community keeping our mission to develop a river pathway while preserving the scenic, natural, and historic value of the North Platte River, and to assist with the development of a network of trails that contribute to our community’s non-motorized transportation options, economic vitality, and quality of life top of mind.
Each member of our Board believes in this mission. That’s why they volunteer to give their time, talent, and financial contributions to help further our mission, goals, and projects. As fellow community members, you may know or recognize some of our Board members. Whether you’ve passed them on the trails or see them each year helping at our events, please join us in thanking them for all they do: 2022-2023 Board of Directors:
Additionally, we give a special thanks to our Ex Officio Members:
Look for the PRTT board at this year’s Riverfest, presented by Peterbilt of Wyoming, on August 20th at Crossroads Park. This beloved community event would not be possible without our Board’s assistance in coordination, selling tickets, handing out beer mugs, or engaging with the community. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for Riverfest event updates and more!
