Our trails have always been the connector for people to get outdoors and explore our community’s beautiful surroundings. This year has shown just how important our trail system is, in providing open spaces for recreation, refuge, reflection and rejuvenation. The Platte River Trails Trust, a non-profit organization, relies on support and donations from users and supporters to achieve its mission to connect people to places. A donation to the Trails Trust is a gift to everyone in our community. The gift is access to safe and separate trails for exercise and non-motorized travel.
All 2020 Annual Giving donations will go towards the extension of our trails from Paradise Valley to Robertson Road. This expansion, including a new bridge over the Platte River, will give the 3,400+ people living in that area direct access to our incredible trails system. This project also fulfills a long-held goal to provide users of all ages and abilities a non-motorized east/west corridor through our community. This year has been challenging for us all. We have seen an exponential increase in use of our trails during this time as people have sought ways to exercise while being socially distant, highlighting how crucial our trail facilities are to community health and well-being. As this challenging year draws to a close please consider a year end donation to help us continue our work to connect our people to our places. Easily donate to our 2020 Annual Giving Campaign online here or mail contributions to P.O. BOX 1228, Casper, WY 82602. Thank you for your generosity!
