Our annual Spring Clean-Up is just around the corner! Each year Platte River Trails, Keep Casper Beautiful, and the community gather to prepare our trails for the busy summer season. Between the long Wyoming winters and the strong Casper wind, our trails take a toll. Come join us on the trails for some much-needed cleaning and maintenance (+ a little sunshine)! This year, the Spring Clean-Up will be held on Saturday, June 4th from 9 AM to 12 PM. We will meet at the Tate Pumphouse before dividing and conquering our various trails. We encourage you to pre-register using our registration form which can then be emailed to [email protected]; however, you can always register the day of the event at the Tate Pumphouse beginning at 8:50 a.m. on Saturday. All supplies are provided, just bring your gloves and dress for the weather. We also encourage groups and businesses to participate.
Maintenance of our community trails is a high priority for our organization and we rely upon Spring Clean-Up volunteers to help us properly maintain our trails in the spring to ensure that users have the best experience possible doing whatever activity they love most, from cycling and fishing to running and bird watching. While this is an annual spring-cleaning event, remember that every day is a clean-up day. When you’re out on the trails keep these tips in mind:
We are eager to hit the trails with you on Saturday, June 4th for the Spring Clean-Up event. With more hands-on deck, the bigger impact we can make! Don’t forget to pre-register and be sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates. See you at the Pumphouse!
