The Platte River Trails Trust is Seeking Executive Director

​With the announcement of current Executive Director, Angela Emery’s, retirement, the Platte River Trails Trust Board of Directors is now accepting applications for the Executive Director position for the Platte River Trails Trust. 

Angela has been the face of our trail system for nearly 24 years. It is with gratitude that we acknowledge how she has grown our fabulous trail system and laid the groundwork for several projects that will keep us expanding and meeting the needs of Casper and Natrona County. The Executive Director position will be responsible for continuing Angela’s efforts in helping lead the organization and guide the Board of Directors.
 
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics: experience in non-profit management or related field, stakeholder communications, event planning, donor development and marketing be located in Natrona County, have a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Outdoor Recreation Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
 
In addition, the Board is seeking an Executive Director that is self-driven and creative, with the ability to research various funding sources and cultivate new donors and be willing to collaborate with various entities. Computer literacy and financial management skills are essential to the position but can be taught to the person who is foremost passionate about our Mission, the trail system, and its importance in our community.
